Matt Arias was born and raised in Durango, Colorado. Matt left the area for college, but stayed in the mountain west graduating for Montana State University. Matt moved back to Durango in 1998 and began his career in the successful family restaurant business. During his 22 years in the hospitality field, Matt has learned and developed a customer first philosophy of business that is a natural fit in the world of real estate.
Matt's transition to real estate was also natural as he moved into the day to day management the commercial properties that housed the restaurants. It was time to get more professional, to become a licensed real estate agent. Whether the client is buying their first home, selling the family home or seeking investment properties Matt enjoys helping them accomplish their goals.
Matt Arias has two teenage sons that he enjoys coaching in their athletic endeavors. His wife, Haley has a successful chiropractic practice in Durango. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and experiencing the world.
